Vice President, Communications

Shannon Lopez is the Vice President of Communications for TruGreen. She is responsible for executive communications, public and media relations, internal communications, employee engagement, meetings and events as well as awards and recognition. With 28 years of experience, Shannon delivers TruGreen’s strategic focus to our associates and knows how to engage the company, the media and our communities.

Before joining TruGreen in 2021, Shannon worked in Global Communications & Public Affairs for Marriott International, where she served in several roles as the head of Internal Communications, including her work as part of the business integration team for Marriott’s acquisition of Starwood Hotels.

Shannon started her career as an anchor/reporter/editor at various CBS News outlets across the country and, after receiving her master’s degree in journalism and public policy, stayed with American University as an adjunct professor for several years.
