Terms and Conditions

TRUGREEN REWARDS LOYALTY PROGRAM

The TruGreen Rewards program (“Program”) is a free-to-join loyalty program offered by TruGreen Limited Partnership (“TruGreen”) that provides Members certain rewards. These Terms and Conditions and any additional terms associated with specific Member offers and TruGreen’s Terms and Conditions (collectively, “Terms”) apply to the Program. By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms.These Terms govern both the Program and all future Member offers related to the Program unless otherwise stated in writing.

TruGreen may, in its sole discretion, alter, limit and/or modify these Terms, or may terminate the Program at any time, with or without notice. TruGreen may elect to communicate changes to Terms from time to time, but it is the responsibility of a TruGreen Rewards Member (“Member”) to check and review these Terms from time to time to keep informed of any changes.

TruGreen makes no guarantees, warranties or representation of any kind regarding the Program. The Program is void where prohibited by applicable federal, state or local laws or regulations.

  1. Eligibility

There are several ways to participate in the program. Eligible customers may visit There are several ways to participate in the Program. By participating, you are accepting the Terms. The Program is for personal use only and may not be used for any commercial purposes.

If all of a Member’s eligible TruGreen services are cancelled for any reason, the Member will not be eligible to participate in the Program. If a Member reinstates an eligible service under the same Account used to enroll in the Program within 30 days of cancelling services, Membership will be reinstated. If a Member does not reinstate an eligible service within 30 days of cancellation, the Member Account will be deactivated. Any points associated with a deactivated Member Account will be forfeited and expire at that time.

  1. Communications

Any personal information you provide to us in connection with the Program will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. California residents, please also see our California Privacy Notice. By participating in the Program, Members may receive regular Account updates by email as well as other email notifications, including marketing emails. Members agree that TruGreen may send messages and information about the Program including offers related to current and possible future services and transactional messages related to your account and Program, via email, mail, automated text or push notifications to their mobile device. If Members do not wish to receive non-transactional communications, you can manage communication preferences via My Account on TruGreen.com or via the TruGreen mobile app.

  1. Participation

  1. Earning Points

Updated 10/2/24: Effective 10/31/24 at 11:59pm PST, members will no longer be able to earn points through this program. If you are a current loyalty member, please reference the email you received titled, “Important: Changes Coming to TruRewards.”

Members will earn one (1) TruGreen Rewards point (“Point”) for every full U.S. dollar paid on TruGreen services, exclusive of taxes and discounts. Points will be awarded at time of payment. Accordingly, Members who subscribe to EasyPay, MonthlyPay or pay by invoice will receive points after each payment is submitted. Members subscribed to PrePay will receive Points at time of prepayment. Members who join the Program after they have already prepaid may not receive points for prepaid services performed prior to enrollment. Please allow up to 10 business days for points to post after payment is processed.

If a Member cancels an upcoming service for which Points were earned, those Points will be debited from the Account at time of cancellation. If a Member does not have a sufficient Points balance, TruGreen will debit as many points as are available . At TruGreen’s sole discretion, any conduct that constitutes abuse or misuse of the Program may result in immediate termination of Member’s participation in the Program as well as Member’s Account.

Points have no cash value and cannot be assigned, sold, transferred, and/or pledged to any third party or to another Member Account. Members have no property rights or other legal interests in Points. Members are responsible for any personal tax liability that may be related to participation in the Program and redemption of any Points.

TruGreen may periodically offer Members opportunities to earn bonus points (“Bonus Points”) for completing specific activities or purchases, or as a surprise and delight gift. The earning, redemption and expiration dates of Bonus Points are governed by these Terms unless otherwise provided in the Bonus Points offer.

  1. Points Expiration

Updated 10/2/24: Effective 12/31/24 at 11:59pm PST, all points will expire. Please redeem remaining points prior to expiration.

Points earned through TruGreen services expire at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on the 548th day (18 months) after they were earned. Bonus Points expire on this same schedule unless individual terms and conditions state otherwise. In that case, they expire according to the terms and conditions of the applicable promotion or offer. Once Points and Bonus Points have expired, they cannot be reinstated under any circumstance.

Members can view the expiration date and history of all Points and Bonus Points earned, via the TruGreen mobile app or by logging in to TruGreen.com/rewards. Expiration occurs at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on the date listed. If your Account is deactivated, TruGreen reserves the right to expire all of your Points and Bonus Points 30 days after your deactivation.

  1. Redeeming Points

Updated 10/2/24: All points must be redeemed prior to 12/31/24 at 11:59pm PST. Any points not redeemed by this time will be forfeited.

Members can redeem Points toward: (a) a future TruGreen service invoice, for an existing service contract, or (b) the purchase of a new service with TruGreen. Any new service(s) purchased with Points will be added to a Member’s annual plan. As with all TruGreen services, this new service will continue from year to year unless cancelled by either TruGreen or the customer, which you may do at any time and without penalty. Members can choose to redeem Points via the TruGreen mobile app or via TruGreen.com, and will receive a $10 USD credit in exchange for every five hundred (500) Points redeemed. Members can select the number of Points they would like to apply, in increments of five hundred (500) Points. If redeeming on a future invoice for an existing service, Members must select which service line to which they would like to apply the points, and that discount will automatically be applied to the next application. If a redemption exceeds the value of the next application, or if that application is skipped, the remaining discount will then be applied to the following application within that same service line (even if that application occurs in the following season). If redeeming on a new purchase via the TruGreen mobile app or via TruGreen.com, Members must log in to their Account in order to view their redeemable Points balance and choose to apply redeemable Points at checkout. Members may only redeem an amount less than or equal to the cost of the first application, after any other discounts are applied.

Points cannot be applied retroactively to prior payments or purchases. Only the primary Account owner of the Account can claim and use Points. Members are responsible for regularly checking your account and must notify TruGreen of any omissions, incorrect entries or other discrepancies.

If a Member cancels a service in which Points were applied, the Points will be reissued to the Member Account at time of refund, with their original expiration date.

  1. Refer a Friend

Updated 10/2/24: Referral activity is limited as we wind down this current version of our loyalty program. Please see the relevant dates above.

Members may opt to participate in the Refer a Friend bonus offer. Members who participate in Refer a Friend (“Referrers”), agree to TruGreen’s Privacy Policy , the foregoing TruGreen Rewards Terms and Conditions, in addition to the following additional Terms and Conditions:

Referrer Eligibility: A Referrer must be a Member as defined above. If you are not a Member, you must join the program in order to refer others. Eligibility is limited to individuals only and cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation or posted on discount websites. TruGreen employees are not eligible to participate.

Referral Eligibility: In order to be eligible, the person being referred (“Referral”) must be a new TruGreen residential customer with no current active or preexisting TruGreen customer account. The Referrer and Referral cannot be the same individual or service address. TruGreen is not responsible for any failures or legal requirements that prohibit the delivery of the referral email.

Qualification Requirements: In order to qualify, a Referral must click on the unique referral link provided by the Referrer and submit their email address to accept the referral. The Referral must then provide that same email address when completing their first TruGreen purchase in order for either party to receive bonus points. If a person has been referred by multiple Referrers, only the Referrer whose link the Referral clicked and accepted will receive credit. Should a person accept multiple referrals, only the most recent one accepted prior to TruGreen purchase will qualify. This Referral has now become a Qualified Referral. Referrals accepted after the new qualifying purchase is made will not qualify. Participants in this program agree that TruGreen will make the final determination as to whether the Referral meets all necessary requirements to be considered a Qualified Referral.

Refer a Friend Bonus Points: Referrers will receive one thousand (1000) bonus points for each Qualified Referral made, to be awarded after the Referral has both (a) received their first service application, and (b) payment has successfully processed for their first service application. Referrals will receive a one-time award of two-hundred and fifty (250) bonus points for a Qualified Referral, also awarded after the first service application and after the first payment has successfully processed. Refer a Friend bonus points will appear within one week of the last completed requirement. A Referral must join the TruGreen Rewards program by their first service application or first payment, whichever comes first, in order to receive the bonus points. Points will not be retroactively awarded if a Referral joins the program after their first service application or first payment is processed. Bonus points redemption and expiration rules are governed by the TruGreen Rewards Terms and Conditions.

Referral History: Referrers have the opportunity to access some of the data regarding referrals and rewards via TruGreen.com and the mobile app. Logged in Referrers will be able to view the status of referrals and potential bonus points, as well as share their unique referral link with others. Note that the status of referrals will become available only once a referral clicks the unique link and accepts the referral.

Compliance with Law: As a Referrer, you agree to comply with all current laws, including, but not limited to the CAN SPAM Act. Any distribution of your unique referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and TruGreen Rewards participation.

Right to Close Accounts: TruGreen reserves the right to close the account(s) of any Referrer or Referral if any customer attempts to use the Refer a Friend program in an abusive or questionable manner or breaches any of these Terms and Conditions.
